This one-day course focuses on developing foundation skills, knowledge and confidence in managing medical emergencies including cardiac arrest. The course is designed for clinicians who don’t regularly manage patients requiring emergency care.

Who Should Participate?

This course is suitable to all levels of health care professionals.


There are no formal prerequisites for this course. We will send you the manual before the course commencement for self-guided pre-reading.


New or continuing students undertaking nationally recognised training need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to receive a qualification/statement of attainment for this unit. If you do not have a USI, or want to verify your USI number, please visit the Australian Government’s USI website here (takes 3 minutes to create a USI).
